Congratulations to Mindy R. and Rebekah L. who were named Aureus Medical’s 2010 Travelers of the Year by Healthcare Traveler, a magazine for traveling healthcare professionals.
Also recognized in the magazine were Dan B. and Vince P. who were honored as Aureus Medical’s 2010 Recruiters of the Year. Travelers must submit nominations for those recruiters that they believe went above and beyond.

“Mindy is a fanstastic RN with experience in all types of emergency departments. She maintains a positive attitude, even in the most hectic and pressure-filled situations, and exudes excellence. During a long-term assignment, she was promoted to be a preceptor of the hospital’s new hires and also promoted to the day charge nurse position. They hospital valued Mindy so much they requested bringing her on full time. One supervisor said, ‘I would let her take care of my family.’ Another commented, ‘Mindy is one of the best nurses we have. She’s a wonderful person and self-starter with an excellent work ethic.”
