As each year passes, the landscape of healthcare continues to change. From talks of a social medicine platform to electronic medical record conversions, the list goes on and on. But through all of this, one thing remains the same. No matter in what direction the industry moves, the strength of healthcare will be determined by those in the trenches who, day in and day out, do their best to ensure that everyone’s goal to live a healthy and pain free life is met. As we reflect this week on those nurses that continually show up, shift after shift, to pour their heart and souls into what they do, a mere “thank you” never seems enough. From here at Aureus Nursing, thank you for all you do. The medical field could and would not be here without you.

Brannen Betz is the General Manager for the Nursing division at Aureus Medical Group. He started with Aureus in 1999 as a Recruiter. He worked his way up to Branch Manager in Allied Health in 2002. He stepped into his current role as General Manager for Nursing in 2003. Brannen was born and raised in Denver, CO. He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where he played collegiate baseball. Brannen has two children, daughter Ellee (12) and son Nate (10). He spends his free time coaching youth sports, playing hockey and wakeboarding.
