Working in travel therapy
At any given time, a healthcare facility may have PT jobs and OT jobs available due to extended absences and leaves, census fluctuation, staffing training, or any situation that results in a staffing gap which needs to be filled.
As a travel therapist, you’ll work on a contract basis for your healthcare staffing agency, Aureus Medical, generally from 13 to 26 weeks, sometimes more. Once your travel therapy assignment is finished you’ll begin your next one or you may decide to take some time off in between contracts.
