Team USA tennis players bring home medals with aid from physical therapist

A Utah man served his nation by filling a physical therapy job for Team U.S.A. at the Olympic Games in London, according to a published report.

Clay Sniteman helped keep U.S. tennis players limber and prepared for their shot at the gold medal, The Standard-Examiner reports. He said that he was enormously impressed with how the games began.

"The Opening Ceremony was an unbelievable experience. What a production,” Sniteman told the news source. "I wish my wife had been here to experience this. The whole atmosphere was amazing. I've seen the opening ceremonies on TV before, but to take it all in was something I will never forget. As a group, we were talking about how great it was to see 10,000 amazing athletes out on the field at the same time."

Much of his preparatory work with Team U.S.A. tennis players was fulfilled at the Wimbledon complex. He expressed awe at the athletes he has seen chasing medals at the Olympics.

Team U.S.A. tennis players captured the sport's most medals, broken down with three gold medals and one bronze medal, according to the Olympics website. Great Britain came in second by capturing one gold medal and one silver medal.
