Given the seasonality factor of respiratory jobs and because some states have a higher volume of respiratory assignment openings than others, we suggest obtaining state respiratory licenses from each region in the US. Georgia
Beaches, big cities, hiking trails, waterfalls and more! Georgia is a popular assignment destination among travelers because of the variety of activities the state offers and its mild winter climate. You can expect the Georgia state respiratory license to take approximately 4-6 weeks, which is a fairly quick turnaround time compared to some other states on this list. Pennsylvania
The northeast in general is a hot bed for respiratory travel assignment openings and Pennsylvania is no different. The PA state license process is fairly straightforward and will take you approximately 6-8 weeks. You can register either under the PA State Board of Medicine or the PA State Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
New Hampshire
New Hampshire is a small state, but the respiratory jobs are abundant and the scenery is out of this world. While many states have an online application process for state licensing, New Hampshire is an exception. You’ll need to contact the board and they will mail you the application to be completed by hand. Expect it to take approximately 8-10 weeks.
