Congratulations to Marge Cale and John Trebilcock who were named Aureus Medical’s 2009 Travelers of the Year by Healthcare Traveler, a magazine for traveling healthcare professionals.
Also recognized in the magazine were Nick Shaw and Vince Poast who were honored as Aureus Medical’s 2009 Recruiters of the Year. Travelers must submit nominations for those recruiters that they believe went above and beyond.
Marge Cale, Diagnostic Imaging
Marge continually goes above and beyond for Aureus and our clients, who rave about her caring nature, dedication to her profession, her willingness to openly share her knowledge and experience with her co-workers, and her scans, which are the clearest they have seen. Examples of her going above and beyond are numerous. She accepts assignments on the spur of the moment; has driven through a blizzard to step in for a facility in need; on a day’s notice drove to an assignment the day after Christmas to cover for an employee who walked off the job; and took the time to help a department learn how to fully utilize a piece of equipment which was new to them, while discovering a process improvement along the way. When an assignment ends, Marge sends a personal letter to the hospital’s CEOs to thank them for having her. Just a few of the client comments we’ve received regarding Marge include, “When I told my staff she was coming back they jumped for joy and so did the Radiologists.”; “After one day it was as if she had been working here for a year.”; “She gave my facility a much needed break from call. John Trebilcock, Nursing
John has been an outstanding employee for Aureus Medical and become well known for his quality of work, great 
knowledge, and his patient advocacy. A self starter and one who is passionate about his work as a Nurse, he consistently demonstrates excellence in patient care, the utmost in professionalism, loyalty, and a passion for ethics. We always feel 100% confident sending him to any facility. He’s also not just fantastic at his job, but he’s modest, pleasant and respectful. Nick Shaw
Nick works as a Senior Account Manager in our Nursing division. The traveler who nominated Nick says, “Nick is always helpful and keeps in touch during and after assignments. He works to get good contracts for me.”
Vince Poast
Vince works as a Recruiter in our Diagnostic Imaging division. The employee who nominated Vince had this to say, “Vince is very conscientious and always positive about the jobs we have discussed.”
